During the internship, participants will be assigned a range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing their skills and knowledge in tourism management and operations. These responsibilities may include:
Tour Planning and Coordination: You will assist in the development and coordination of tour itineraries, including arranging accommodations, transportation, and activities for clients visiting Uganda.
Customer Service and Hospitality: Interns will have the opportunity to interact with clients, providing assistance and support throughout their travel experience. This may involve welcoming guests, addressing inquiries, and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay.
Cultural Exchange and Community Engagement: Learners will engage with local communities and cultural groups, facilitating cultural exchange activities and promoting responsible tourism practices that respect and preserve Uganda’s diverse heritage.
Environmental Conservation: Students will learn about the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable tourism practices, participating in initiatives aimed at minimizing the ecological footprint of tourism activities in Uganda’s natural areas.
