Day by Day Activities.
You will be picked up early in the morning by our driver-guide. Drive southwest via Masaka and Mbarara with a stopover at the equator – a famous spot for photography. You will continue to Mbarara town where you will enjoy an en-route lunch and then proceed to the park traversing the acacia woodland, long-horned Ankole cattle, and the Ishaka tea plantations.
Upon arrival in the park, go for an evening game drive to spot different wildlife like the Uganda kob, antelope, elephant, baboon, hippo, buffalo, chimp, leopard, and many other small animals as well as the different plant and bird species.
With an early breakfast, enjoy the sunrise on your morning game drive along the Kasenyi track where you can expect to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, kobs, and waterbucks among others. If you are lucky, spot the shy leopard, spotted hyena, and the famous tree-climbing lion. You may be able to watch the hunt unfold, the patient build-up, and the dramatic attempt to pounce with the lioness bounding elegantly down the trunk, blending into the grass with solemn menace.
In the afternoon after lunch, conduct a spectacular boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel to view the amazing birdlife and a variety of wild animals like hippos and crocodiles among others.
After an early breakfast, start on the journey back to Entebbe with an en-route game drive. Explore the south with a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch after which you proceed to your hotel in Entebbe or the airport for your outbound flight.
