Enter the dense tropical rainforest of Kibale National Park and begin your trek in search of chimpanzees. The tracking experience can take 2–4 hours depending on the location of the chimps.
Once located, you will spend one magical hour observing them as they feed, groom, play, and communicate. Watching chimpanzees in the wild is an incredible experience—one that brings you face-to-face with human-like behavior in a natural setting.
Other wildlife you may encounter includes forest elephants, bush pigs, and various bird species.
In the afternoon, visit the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk. This community-run project is rich in biodiversity and offers excellent birdwatching opportunities.
