Day by Day Activities.

Day 1: Amboseli National Park

Upon your arrival in Kenya, a scenic drive will take you to Amboseli National Park, where you’ll arrive just in time for a delightful lunch. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. Later in the day, embark on your first exhilarating game drive.

Renowned for its proximity to free-roaming African elephants and diverse wildlife, Amboseli boasts vast savannah grasslands spanning the Kenya-Tanzania border. Encounter the Maasai people and take in the breathtaking vistas of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest freestanding mountain, which dominates the landscape. While Kilimanjaro lies in Tanzania, Amboseli offers the finest views of this majestic peak, particularly stunning at sunset from the ancient vantage point of Observation Hill.

Day 2. Lake Naivasha

Following breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Lake Naivasha, a picturesque freshwater lake bordered by lush papyrus vegetation. The area surrounding the lake is a treasure trove of natural beauty, blessed with fertile soils that support thriving agriculture. Gracing the shores are forests of the iconic yellow-barked Acacia Xanthophlea, aptly named the yellow fever tree, which attract a plethora of bird species, making Naivasha a haven for bird enthusiasts. The lake’s tranquil waters also draw a diverse array of wildlife, with giraffes gracefully roaming among the acacias, buffalo lazing in the swamps, and Colobus monkeys frolicking in the treetops, while hippopotamuses bask in the shallows.

Day 3. Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, marveling at the breathtaking scenery of the Great Rift Valley along the way. Pause briefly at the Subukia viewpoint to soak in the panoramic vistas. Upon arrival, indulge in a delicious lunch and check into your lodge. Then, set out for an afternoon game drive in the park, where you’ll have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife. Witness the spectacle of flamingos lining the shores of Lake Nakuru, attracted by the abundance of algae. Keep an eye out for other bird species, as well as warthogs, baboons, and larger mammals. Additionally, observe the eastern black and southern white rhinos, which have been successfully reintroduced to the area. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4. Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, check out and drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve via Narok. Upon arrival, you will commence with a game drive. Next, you will check in and have lunch at the camp. An afternoon game drive follows as you return to the lodge/camp for dinner and your overnight stay. Enjoy this incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience in the vast Masai Mara plains.

Day 5. Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast at the camp, you will proceed for a morning game drive. You will carry lunch boxes to enjoy during the day. In the afternoon, embark on an afternoon game drive until sunset. You can also visit a Maasai village (payment for this tour is at the village). Your dinner and overnight stay are at the camp.

Day 6. Nairobi

Start your day with a sunrise game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Afterward, transfer to Nairobi where you’ll enjoy lunch and have the opportunity to browse for souvenirs. Conclude your journey with a drop-off at the airport.
