Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek & Drive to Etosha

Welcome to Namibia! Upon arrival, collect your rental car and drive to Etosha National Park. Stop in Otjiwarongo at Bohemia Book Shop Café for snacks. If time allows, begin exploring Etosha’s rich wildlife and scenic waterholes.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Etosha

Enjoy a self-drive safari early in the morning. Expect sightings of lions, hyenas, elephants, rhinos, and vast herds of zebra and springbok. Guided safaris available on request.

Day 3: Drive to Erongo Mountains

Travel to the striking Erongo Region. Visit Spitzkoppe’s rock bridge, explore bushmen paintings, and end the day with a guided sundowner walk amid the rocky landscapes.

Day 4: Scenic Drive to Swakopmund

Drive to the coastal town of Swakopmund. Explore this vibrant German-influenced town and dine at popular restaurants like “The Tug” or “Jetty 1905”.

Day 5: Explore Swakopmund

Free day! Choose from scenic flights, desert tours, kayaking with seals, Sandwich Harbor 4x4 trips, or stroll through historic streets and markets.

Day 6: Drive to Sossusvlei

Head into the Namib Desert and check in at Dead Valley Lodge. Optional activities include hot air ballooning or scenic flights over the dunes.

Day 7: Explore the Dunes of Sossusvlei

Visit Dune 45, Big Daddy, and Deadvlei in Namib-Naukluft Park. Marvel at the shifting colors and dramatic landscapes. End with a walk through Sesriem Canyon.
