Pick-Up & Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your adventure begins with a warm pick-up from your Kampala or Entebbe hotel. You embark on a scenic drive through Uganda's rolling hills, lush tea plantations, and vibrant rural communities, heading southward toward the ancient Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Upon arrival at Bwindi, you check into your lodge set against mist-covered forest. The evening is yours to relax, enjoy a hearty dinner, and receive a comprehensive briefing from your guide about tomorrow's gorilla trekking adventure.

Day Two

Gorilla Trekking Encounter in Bwindi

Today is the crown jewel of your safari — gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After an early breakfast, you join your ranger guide to track one of the habituated mountain gorilla families deep into the forest.

Spending a full hour face-to-face with these gentle giants is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Observe silverbacks, mothers, and playful young gorillas in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for lunch, relaxation, and an optional village community walk in the afternoon.

Day Three

Drive to Queen Elizabeth via Ishasha — Tree-Climbing Lions

After breakfast, depart Bwindi and drive through the breathtaking Kigezi highlands toward Ishasha — the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Ishasha is world-famous for its remarkable tree-climbing lions, a phenomenon rarely seen elsewhere in Africa.

Keep your camera ready as your guide spots these big cats lounging on the branches of ancient fig trees. After this extraordinary game drive, continue northward and check into your lodge overlooking the Kazinga Channel as the sun sets magnificently.

Morning Game Drive, Boat Cruise & Drive to Kibale Forest

Rise early for a thrilling morning game drive across the Kasenyi plains — prime territory for lions, elephants, buffalo, Uganda kob, and hyenas. The golden morning light makes for spectacular wildlife photography in this diverse and expansive savannah ecosystem.

After the drive and breakfast, board a boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel, home to one of Africa's largest concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles. In the afternoon, drive to Kibale Forest National Park and settle into your forest lodge for the night.

Chimpanzee Tracking & Drive to Murchison Falls

This morning takes you deep into Kibale Forest — Africa's premier destination for chimpanzee tracking. Home to over 1,500 chimpanzees, Kibale offers an extraordinary primate experience. Your expert tracker guides you through the forest canopy, following chimpanzee calls and movements.

Listening to chimpanzees hoot and observing them swing between trees is utterly thrilling. After lunch at the lodge, embark on a scenic drive northward to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving by evening for dinner, a sundowner, and well-deserved rest.

Game Drive, Boat Cruise & Top of the Falls

Start with an exhilarating game drive on the northern bank of the Victoria Nile, where Murchison Falls harbours Uganda's largest elephant herds alongside lions, giraffes, Cape buffalo, and leopards. The park's vast open savannah offers outstanding visibility for incredible wildlife sightings.

After lunch, board a boat cruise from Paraa toward the thunderous base of Murchison Falls. Watch hippos and crocodiles up close before hiking to the top of the falls, where the mighty Nile surges through a narrow 7-metre gorge with breathtaking, raw power.

Drive to Kampala/Entebbe via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

On your final morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before departing Murchison Falls toward Kampala and Entebbe. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary — the only place in Uganda where you can track white rhinos on foot in their natural, protected bushland environment.

Walk alongside Uganda's magnificent white rhinos as your ranger shares fascinating insights about conservation efforts. It is a peaceful, deeply moving finale to a perfect safari. After rhino tracking, continue to Kampala or Entebbe, carrying memories of extraordinary Uganda forever.
