Day 1: Fly from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Gorilla Safari Begins)

Your journey begins with a morning domestic flight from Entebbe to the southwestern airstrips of Kisoro or Kihihi. From here, you are transferred by road to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its dense rainforest and endangered mountain gorillas.
Upon arrival at your lodge, you will relax and enjoy the breathtaking forest views. This is a perfect time to unwind, prepare your gear, and receive a briefing for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure. Optional cultural village walks can also be arranged.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Forest

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a detailed gorilla trekking briefing in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will then enter the forest with experienced rangers to track a habituated mountain gorilla family.
The trek may take 2–6 hours depending on the gorillas’ movement, but the reward is unforgettable. Once found, you will spend one magical hour observing them up close in their natural habitat—watching their behavior, interactions, and family structure. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3: Scenic Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart Bwindi and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most popular safari destinations. The journey passes through the beautiful Kigezi highlands, often called the “Switzerland of Africa,” with rolling hills, terraced farms, and scenic countryside views.

Day 4: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise (Big Five Experience)

Begin your day with a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you may spot elephants, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs, and leopards in the Kasenyi plains. The park offers some of the best wildlife viewing in East Africa.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. This area is rich in wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and large flocks of birds such as pelicans and kingfishers.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive & Fly Back to Entebbe (Departure)
