The journey showcases Uganda’s incredible biodiversity and cultural richness, making it ideal for travelers seeking a comprehensive and immersive African experience.

Return to the lodge for lunch before heading for an afternoon boat cruise on the River Nile to the base of the mighty Murchison Falls. Day 4: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive southwest to Kibale Forest National Park, passing through Fort Portal, a region famous for its crater lakes and views of the Rwenzori Mountains.

Kibale is known as the Primate Capital of East Africa, home to over 13 primate species including chimpanzees. Arrive in the evening and check in at your lodge located near the tropical forest.

With the guidance of experienced rangers, enter the forest to locate one of the habituated chimp families. The experience is both thrilling and educational as you watch these intelligent primates play, groom, and communicate.

In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk at Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run conservation project famous for birds, monkeys, and lush vegetation. You’ll also meet locals and learn how tourism supports their livelihoods.
