Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, meet your safari guide and set off for a Kigali city tour. Highlights include:

After breakfast, depart Kigali and drive through Rwanda’s beautiful hillsides before crossing into Uganda. The scenic journey passes local villages, farms, and rolling landscapes. Arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to nearly half the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Check into your lodge and prepare for the gorilla trek.

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for briefing. Then embark on a gorilla trekking expedition through the thick, mist-covered forest. Trekking may last 2–6 hours depending on the gorillas’ location. Once you find them, spend a magical hour observing their behavior, feeding, and family bonds.
Return to the lodge for relaxation. In the evening, you may opt for a Batwa cultural experience, meeting the indigenous forest people who share stories, dances, and traditions.

Cross back into Rwanda after breakfast. Today is dedicated to Rwanda’s cultural heritage. Activities may include:
