After breakfast, drive south through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. With some luck, you may spot them lazily resting in fig trees.

Once you find the gorillas, spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat—watching the silverback lead his family, mothers care for infants, and juveniles play. This is a deeply moving and unforgettable wildlife experience.
Return to the lodge for relaxation or opt for a short community walk to meet the Batwa people (optional).

After breakfast, drive to Lake Bunyonyi, often called the “Switzerland of Africa” due to its terraced hills and cool climate. This scenic lake is dotted with 29 small islands and is safe for swimming.
