Your journey begins in Kampala with an early morning drive northwards to Murchison Falls National Park. En route, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking on foot, offering a rare chance to see these endangered giants. After lunch, continue to the park, enjoying scenic countryside views, before checking into your lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.
Start your day with an early morning game drive across the northern savannah of Murchison Falls National Park. Look out for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelope species in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of the falls, where you will spot hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species in a spectacular setting.
After breakfast, visit the top of the powerful Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge creating a dramatic roar. You will then embark on a long but scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park. Along the way, enjoy views of tea plantations, rolling hills, and rural communities before arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Begin the day with chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park, home to one of Africa’s highest concentrations of primates. Guided by experienced rangers, you will trek through the forest to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat. After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the evening for relaxation and overnight at your lodge.
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its dense concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife along the shores.
After breakfast, travel through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, known as Ishasha. This area is famous for its unique tree-climbing lions, often seen resting in fig trees. Continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through scenic highlands and local communities before arriving for dinner and overnight stay.
This is the highlight of your safari. After an early briefing, embark on a guided trek into the dense of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in search of mountain gorillas.
