Day 1: Pickup from Arusha and Transfer to Serengeti

Start your 2-Day Serengeti Safari in Tanzania with an early morning pickup from your hotel or residence in Arusha. After breakfast, our company guide will brief you on the journey ahead. Once the briefing is complete, you’ll embark on a scenic 4-hour drive through the stunning Tanzanian countryside, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This journey offers a glimpse into the region’s diverse landscapes and wildlife.

Upon arriving at Serengeti National Park in the afternoon, you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy a hearty lunch. Afterward, prepare for an exhilarating late afternoon game drive. The driver will navigate through various savannah trails, offering opportunities to see an array of wildlife including zebras, wildebeest, topis, crocodiles, impalas, gazelles, a plethora of bird species, and hippos lounging in the water. As the sun begins to set, you’ll return to your lodge, soaking in the breathtaking African sunset along the way.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Return to Arusha

On the second day, wake up early for breakfast before heading out for a final morning game drive. This early morning excursion is an excellent opportunity to spot lions along the park roads, as they tend to avoid the morning dew in the long grass. The cooler morning hours are also ideal for birdwatching and observing herbivores starting their day. Additionally, you might encounter nocturnal animals making their way back to their dens after a night of hunting.

After a 4-hour game drive, you’ll return to the hotel for lunch and to check out. Your driver will then begin the journey back to Arusha, arriving late in the afternoon. The safari concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or residence.
