Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Jinja & Adventure Experience

Your exciting day begins early. After an early breakfast at your hotel or residence in Kampala, our professional safari driver/guide will pick you up promptly at 6:00 AM. You’ll then embark on a comfortable journey in a well-equipped 4×4 safari vehicle headed to Jinja, which is approximately a 2.5 to 3-hour scenic drive through rural towns and tea plantations.

Upon arrival in Jinja, your first stop will be Nile High Bungee, located just a short distance from the town center. Here, you will participate in one of Africa’s most exhilarating activities—bungee jumping from a 44-meter high tower. As you leap from the platform, you’ll dive headfirst toward the River Nile—a once-in-a-lifetime adrenaline rush that offers both thrill and awe-inspiring views. All safety precautions are taken seriously, and the activity is conducted by certified professionals with modern, secure equipment.

Once you’ve recovered from the thrill of the jump, the next adventure awaits—white water rafting on the legendary River Nile. This half-day excursion takes approximately 2 to 3 hours and is led by experienced guides who ensure both safety and fun. You can choose between a high-adrenaline rafting experience on the Grade 3–5 rapids or a more relaxed kayaking trip, depending on your preference and comfort level. Either way, you’ll be splashing through powerful waves, maneuvering past river islands, and experiencing the force of the Nile in full motion.

After your water adventure, you’ll break for a well-deserved lunch, which is typically served at a local riverside restaurant offering both Ugandan and international dishes.

In the afternoon, you have the option to add on an hour-long quad biking or horseback riding experience. These activities take you through scenic villages, open fields, and along the riverbanks, giving you a closer look at the countryside and a chance to interact with the warm and welcoming local communities.
