Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

• Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport or after pickup from your hotel, meet your safari driver/guide.

• Take a city tour of Kigali (optional) including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local markets, and craft centers.

• Begin your scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, passing through rolling hills, lush countryside, and local communities.

• Arrive in Bwindi in the evening, check in at your lodge, and relax in preparation for your gorilla trek.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

• Early breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing.

• Set out on a thrilling trek into the thick forest to find a gorilla family. The trek may take 2 to 6 hours depending on the gorillas’ movement.

• Spend 1 magical hour observing the gorillas – watching their interactions, feeding, and grooming.

• After trekking, return to the lodge to relax, or take a cultural walk to the Batwa community for a unique cultural encounter.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

• After breakfast, drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (about 1–2 hours).

• Hike into the bamboo forest to track these rare primates, known for their playful and curious nature. The trek lasts 2–4 hours.

• In the afternoon, enjoy scenic views of the Virunga Volcanoes or take an optional cultural tour of the Batwa pygmies around Mgahinga.

• Return to your lodge for relaxation.
