Best time to visit Kigezi

Kigezi enjoys a moderate climate due to its high elevation, but there are distinct wet and dry seasons.

Dry Season (June to September and December to February):

This is generally considered the best time to visit Kigezi. The weather is cooler and drier during these months, making outdoor activities and hiking more pleasant.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is popular during this period as the trails are less muddy, and the chances of rain disrupting your trek are lower.
