10 Days Best of Uganda Rwanda combines the best experiences of Uganda – the Pearl of Africa and Rwanda – the Land of a Thousand Hills. You will trek endangered mountain gorillas, meet chimpanzees, enjoy thrilling game drives, a boat cruise along the Nile and Kazinga Channel, and soak in the breathtaking sceneries of both countries.
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide. After a short briefing, embark on a city tour of Kigali, visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial, craft centers, and local markets.
Later, drive northwards through scenic landscapes to Volcanoes National Park, home of the endangered mountain gorillas. Settle into your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Head into the lush forest of the Virunga Volcanoes in search of a gorilla family. Once found, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat.
Return to the lodge for relaxation. In the evening, you may take an optional cultural visit to the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to experience Rwandan traditions.

Enjoy a morning trek to see the endangered golden monkeys, known for their playful nature and vibrant golden-orange coats. After the trek, drive to Lake Kivu, Rwanda’s most beautiful lake. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the lake shores or take a boat ride to explore the islands.

Wake up early for a hearty breakfast, then head to the park headquarters for briefing. Begin your trek through the thick, misty forest in search of gorillas. The trek can take 2–6 hours, but the reward of meeting the gentle giants is beyond imagination. After spending one magical hour with them, return to the lodge to relax.

Depart Bwindi and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most popular savanna park, famous for tree-climbing lions and diverse wildlife. On arrival, take an evening game drive to spot elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and more.

Start the day with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, where you may encounter lions, leopards, elephants, Uganda kobs, and warthogs. The cruise is a highlight, with hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and abundant birdlife along the shores.
