Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Canopy Walk in Nyungwe Forest

Wake up early for a 4:45 AM breakfast, then transfer to the chimpanzee trekking point. Accompanied by expert trackers, you’ll hike into the forest in search of wild chimpanzees, observing them as they feed, play, and communicate in their natural habitat — a truly magical wildlife encounter.

Following the trek, embark on the thrilling canopy walk, suspended 50 meters above the ground and stretching 200 meters across a lush valley. This hanging walkway offers a unique perspective of the forest, placing you eye-level with monkeys, birds, and other canopy-dwelling creatures. You’ll be surrounded by the vast beauty of Nyungwe Forest National Park, home to over 13 primate species and hundreds of bird species.

Day 3: Lake Kivu Experience & Return to Kigali
